NewsGuard 100/100 Score

KIKA™ Clinical Solutions, the leader in advanced EDC solutions for Clinical Asset Management™, announced that Carestream Health, Inc., will work with KIKA to perform a knowledge transfer for use of KIKA's technology on six global clinical trials that require electronic data capture this year.

“This partnership demonstrates the excellent effectiveness of KIKA's Strategic Partner Program. It provides our customers with a full clinical suite that integrates top technologies into a single platform. And, it offers an excellent new business opportunity for KIKA and our partners like Carestream Health."”

Amer El-Kerdi, Director of Clinical Affairs at Carestream Health, explained that "KIKA's EDC platform and Clinical Asset Management™ strategy will enable us to conduct these clinical studies in support of product development as well as US and international market launches with improved flexibility, time and cost efficiency. We will work with KIKA's Professional Services organization to build the first clinical trial, and, then, we will be able to build our own subsequent trials."

KIKA sells the Veracity™ EDC platform to both sponsors and CROs on both a trial-by-trial basis and as a knowledge transfer. In a knowledge technology transfer KIKA licenses and transfers its software to the customer. Some customers prefer this method because it allows them to build and manage trials internally.

KIKA CEO Linda Beneze said, "We're delighted to be working with a company of Carestream Health's vision and expertise. Knowledge transfers are another important way that KIKA offers complete flexibility to our customers who want to build and manage clinical trials internally."

Zaher El-Assi, Senior Director of Global Sales & Strategic Partnerships, commented, "This partnership demonstrates the excellent effectiveness of KIKA's Strategic Partner Program. It provides our customers with a full clinical suite that integrates top technologies into a single platform. And, it offers an excellent new business opportunity for KIKA and our partners like Carestream Health."
