Hotze Health & Wellness Center (HHWC), a world leader in the alternative health care industry, today announced the launch of its newly created Executive EdgeTM Wellness Program. In an effort to promote true health and wellness in the workplace, HHWC has established a new division focused on partnering with companies to offer their executives solutions to common health ailments.

Recent studies confirm that migraines, depression, anxiety, arthritis, respiratory illnesses, and back and neck pain are the most common factors contributing to lost productivity in the workplace. In fact, lost productivity costs due to absenteeism are more than two times higher than direct health costs. According to one recent study, lost work days due to illness and injury amount to annual costs of nearly $63 billion.

In order to meet a growing demand to face these problems in the workplace head on, HHWC has developed a plan to partner with corporations nationwide so that their executives can obtain and maintain optimal health. Utilizing programs, services and products that have been in place for more than 20 years at HHWC, Physician's Preference Vitamins & Supplements, and Hotze Pharmacy will enable Executive EdgeTM to offer its member companies the most unique, highly advanced as well as individually tailored services as possible.

Cesar Guerra, director of executive accounts at HHWC, is leading this new division within the company as well as serving as a liaison between HHWC and Executive EdgeTM member companies. Guerra will be in constant contact with its members ensuring that they are fully satisfied with the services they are being provided, tracking the progress individual executives are making, and the company as a whole. This tailored program is designed to decrease employee absenteeism, lower insurance premiums and increase employee productivity.

"This innovative program is our amped up version of the mainstream employee wellness program with an advantage of 21 years of experience in the medical field using natural approaches to health," said Steven F. Hotze, M.D., founder and CEO of Hotze Health & Wellness Center. "Unlike most wellness programs out there, we have taken a vastly different approach. A company's success relies directly upon the productivity, efficiency and performance of its employees, therefore, a healthy workplace is directly correlated with its success. We are excited to see what Ces and our medical team will achieve for companies in the greater Houston area and beyond."

To kick off the launch, the following educational opportunities will be available:

  • Guerra's radio guest spot today at 7: 35 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST) on "The TALK 650 Morning Show" on KIKK- AM TALK 650.
  • Guerra will have a regular interview segment on "The Talk 650 Morning Show" beginning today and will continue as a weekly segment on Mondays from 7: 35 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
  • "Health & Wellness Solutions" radio program on 700 AM KSEV at noon CST Tuesday, April 19.
