Tufts Health Plan receives prestigious advertising awards for new health and wellness promotion

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Tufts Health Plan was recently honored for excellence in advertising in two national competitions, winning a total of three awards.

Last fall, Tufts Health Plan launched a new advertising campaign featuring common health and wellness experiences focused on common and relatable experiences. The four spots contained messaging about exercise, healthy eating, sunscreen application and proper disposal of prescription medication.  The ads position Tufts Health Plan as a health partner, as well as a health plan.

The No Excuses commercial that centers on the everyday challenge of going to the gym won Gold recognition from the Aster Awards, one of the largest and most elite national programs.  The ad also received Merit recognition from Healthcare Advertising Awards, the oldest, largest and most prestigious advertising award competition.  The entire ad series gained Silver recognition from Healthcare Advertising Awards.

"We are committed to helping our members live healthier lives.  We are honored that our efforts have been recognized," said Rebecca Levanduski, director of marketing.

Tuft's ad for eating healthy is simply about women who need to eat healthy.  Ever noticed all those "ROBUST" men around shoveling in donuts etc?  Woman are expected to look terrific which is the important thing to most people in general, not health, but men hang over their belts, gasp on one flight of stairs and also need to be included in these ads. I commend you for the terrific ads that we watch.  The better the ad, the more people watch and think.  Get on it Tufts and let these unhealthy men think before they gobble up that jelly donut!
