The well-established high tech company CNSystems once again attracts international attention with a big mile stone. The Bordeaux University Hospital (France) confirms that the validated CNAP blood pressure wave offers the possibility of precise therapy control during surgery. Already today, the recently released product innovation CNAP-PPV, proves to be a sensational, noninvasive alternative solution to the standard high-risk procedures for monitoring the fluid status during operations.

CNAP-PPV is the noninvasive solution for the continuous monitoring of the patient's fluid status during surgery. With a simple double-finger cuff CNAP-PPV and, simultaneously, the blood pressure are measured for every single heartbeat.

This ingenious combination monitors blood pressure and fluid status without burdening the patient's body with risky, invasive procedures always requiring an arterial catheter.

The French team of Univ.-Prof. Matthieu Biais confirms in its scientific publication that the CNAP-PPV method perfectly shows the same outcome as the expensive and high-risk invasive procedures: "Our results suggest that in the operating room during vascular surgery, respiratory induced variations in the pulse pressure (PPV) measured non-invasively in the finger using the CNAP system correlate closely with the PPV measured invasively with an arterial catheter."

This brand new study emphasizes that the validated CNAP blood pressure wave allows for an accurate hemodynamic monitoring during operations. The increasing demand for risk-free and cost-saving solutions argue in favor of CNAP-PPV: "It is scientifically proven that fluid-optimization not only reduces patient risk but also shortens the duration of hospitalization.", says CNSystems-founder Dr. Juergen Fortin.

More than 86% of all US and 98% of all European intensive care specialists and anesthesiologists claim for improvements of hemodynamic monitoring as current technologies are not suitable for the full integration into the daily clinical routine.

The cost for CNAP-PPV only makes one-fifth compared to invasive methods. "This allows fluid-management to become a clinical standard in Anesthesia and can also be applied for minor-risk procedures.", explains Fortin.
