Toshiba’s Infinix DP-i cardiovascular X-ray system to be used in eight live cases

Enabling clinicians to seamlessly transition between cardiac and peripheral intervention during a single procedure, Infinix^TM DP-i cardiovascular X-ray system from Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. will be used in eight live cases at Peripheral Angioplasty and All That Jazz conference, Oct. 31 - Nov. 2, 2011, New Orleans. The live cases will take place at Ochsner Medical Center and focus on:

Monday, October 31: Symposium for Nurses and Technologists

• Tuesday, November 1: Atrial Septal Defect and Patent Foramen Ovale; Carotid Intervention; Subclavian and Vertebral Cases
• Wednesday, November 2: Lower Extremity Cases; Renal Cases; Aortic/Mesenteric Cases; Miscellaneous Cases on Complications and Hot Topics

The Infinix DP-i features two C-arms - 8" x 8" flat panel detector for cardiac and a 12" x 16" flat panel detector for peripheral - allowing clinicians to use the most appropriate detector. When combined with Toshiba's proprietary Next Generation Advanced Image Processing (AIP), Infinix DP-i provides improved visualization, helping clinicians more quickly and accurately diagnose and treat patients.
