The New York Cardiac Diagnostic Center announced today Dr. Steven Reisman, a New York City cardiologist, will be featured on an upcoming episode of The Jeremy Kyle Show. Dr. Reisman will be discussing the increased risk for heart disease, type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome for individuals who are overweight or obese.

"Obesity is one of the leading factors of why people develop conditions like heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Prevention is critical," said Dr. Steven Reisman, Director of the New York Cardiac Diagnostic Center.  "The next best thing after prevention is early intervention and that's why our practice is committed to services like echocardiography, stress tests and cardiac CT scans to help patients identify their risk early and take action."
