Razoo,
the fastest growing crowdfunding platform for causes, announces the
creation of their PinkGiving
Campaign during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The PinkGiving
Campaign is an effort to highlight the importance of breast cancer
awareness and to inspire others to take action. If Razoo's Facebook page
receives 50,000 "Likes" then Razoo will donate an even share of $10K to
four organizations fighting breast cancer.
"Don't underestimate the power you have to make a difference," says
Razoo CEO Lesley Mansford. "All one has to do is "Like" our Facebook
page and share our information about breast cancer, and then ask your
friends - whether you have ten or ten thousand. By sharing, you are
spreading the word about this important issue, and some of your friends
who see your post may be compelled to donate, fundraise, pass the word
along to their friends, or even see a doctor."
One of the four organizations that will benefit from the PinkGiving
Campaign is Living
Beyond Breast Cancer, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to
empowering all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as
possible with the best quality of life.
"If we were to be honored with a portion of this great campaign, we
would be able to put that money toward our support and education
programming, including our Survivors'
Helpline; our print and online publications which include our
"Guides to Understanding;" and a calendar full of national conferences,
teleconferences, and local community meetings," says Rachel
Pinkstone-Marx, Marketing and Development Coordinator for Living Beyond
Breast Cancer. "It's through this support during Breast Cancer Awareness
Month - and more importantly, all year-round—that LBBC can continue its
mission to empower all women affected by breast cancer to live as long
as possible with the best quality of life."
