Pep talk and self-encouragement have always remained a key factor for those wishing to achieve improved fitness success, especially those who are attempting to lose weight. While there are many reasons an individual may face difficulties in the face of a weight-loss plan, a recent article from She Knows highlights the importance of maintaining a positive attitude throughout these goals. The makers of Hydroxycut explain that it is essential that those searching for greater weight-loss success find a support system, which should always starts with having the support of one 's self.

The article sets out to discover just how great the impact of a positive attitude is on women's weight-loss efforts. After interviewing 1,000 women, the study found that "about half the study participants were described as positive weight managers. These women are more likely to meet their weight loss goals. Only one of every five of positive thinkers reported they had a hard time getting back on track after a slip in their diet plans."

The makers of Hydroxycut respond in a recent press statement, "It goes without saying that enhanced self-esteem and positivity can help any person overcome obstacles. However, it is crucial for those who have a 'negative' mindset to understand which specific behaviors they must correct to see improved results." According to the article, the study assessed just which behaviors "negative" thinkers were apt to display, including lack of self-control, portion control, motivation, varied food options and support.
