Today, Lexus of Tacoma at Fife presented the Carol Milgard Breast Center, a joint collaboration of the Multicare Health System, the Franciscan Health System and TRA Medical Imaging, a company-sponsored donation in the amount of $3,000. Lexus of Tacoma at Fife, which has long been recognized for their philanthropic outreach to many Pierce County organizations, selected the Carol Milgard Breast Center as a sponsorship recipient based on CMBC's unwavering mission of providing the highest quality breast health services to the community.

“This is another example of the tremendous local community support experienced by the Carol Milgard Breast Center. CBMC, in collaboration with the American Cancer Society, recommends that women 40 years and older receive an annual screening mammography exam because early detection provides better treatment options and clinical outcomes.”

"The Lexus of Tacoma at Fife employees truly understand the importance of giving back to the local community," says Mr. Frank Lee, General Manager. Lee goes on to explain, "The unanimous decision by our employees to select the Carol Milgard Breast Center as a sponsorship recipient was easy because many of us have been touched by breast cancer through a diagnosis of a family member, friend, or colleague. Our company goal in this fundraising campaign was to support CMBC's mission through employee generated donations during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month."

Khai Tran, M.D., CMBC Medical Director states, "This is another example of the tremendous local community support experienced by the Carol Milgard Breast Center. CBMC, in collaboration with the American Cancer Society, recommends that women 40 years and older receive an annual screening mammography exam because early detection provides better treatment options and clinical outcomes." Dr. Tran continues, "We would like to extend a warm thank you to the Lexus of Tacoma at Fife employees for their generous support of CMBC."
