Stemedica files IND for trial using allogeneic mesenchymal bone marrow cells in patients with ischemic stroke

Stemedica Cell Technologies, Inc. Having lower TSH levels while taking thyroxine replacement is not detrimental to health, says study

New research shows that it may be safe for patients taking thyroxine replacement to have low but not suppressed thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) levels. The research, presented at the Society for Endocrinology BES meeting in Manchester, shows for the first time that it may be safe for patients to take slightly higher doses of thyroxine than are currently recommended.

Viron Therapeutics Inc. announced that VT-346, an anti-TNF protein therapeutic, demonstrated positive results in a pivotal proof of concept study in the gold standard transgenic mouse model for arthritis.
