Gamma Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced the formation of a joint venture company with Jugular, Inc., replacing the brand licensing agreement in place between Gamma and Jugular since 2007. The new company, Gamma Jugular, LLC is closely integrated with Gamma's existing corporate infrastructure and distribution channels, and currently has three product lines and six SKUs with plans for expansion. The investors are Great Point Partners, LLC and Deerfield Management Company. BioSante expects to receive net proceeds of approximately $17.5 million after deducting placement agent fees and other offering expenses.
