Labecs floor model autoclaves a superior quality range, available in 40,60,80 and 100 litres capacity.

LABEC brand autoclaves are designed for steam pressure sterilisation, media preparation, waste destruction etc. Modern styling and materials have been used in the construction to ensure ease of maintenance, operation and user safety. The pressure vessel is constructed from 18/8 stainless steel specifically chosen for its corrosion resistance characteristics. The lid and all components exposed to steam are constructed from 18/8 stainless steel. The outer case is 304 grade stainless steel. the lid is counterbalanced for ease of opening and seals on a silicone rubber recessed gasket.

Special attention has been given to the lid opening and closing system which can be performed quickly and safely. Pressure and temperature is controlled by a digital set point, digital temperature indicating microprocessor controller. A pressure gauge registers chamber pressure.

An automatic 0-300hr timer is fitted which commences when the desired temperature is reached and at completion of cycle the heaters are switched off. Heating is by immersion elements in the base of the vessel and only a small amount of water is  required, resulting in fast heat up times. An electric low water switch will protect the element and turn off power should the water level be below the required level. The electrical supply required is either 15AMP or 20AMP single or two phase, which may be plugged or hard wired directly to electrical supply. No special plumbing is required but the vents may be plumbed to a suitable drain to avoid steam exhaust in the autoclave location
