Sensofar’s Q six is a comprehensive solution to simplify and streamline stent assessment and approval. High-resolution imaging and 3D optical measurement enable full surface inspection of the stent structure, minimizing quality control costs, errors, and inspection time, and making the task of acceptance easier, faster, and more consistent.
The key feature of the proprietary SensoINSPECT software of the Q six is versatility. A manual mode is programmed for flexibility in R&D and Process Development, while an assisted mode is the ideal solution for rapid in-line inspection. Dimensional pass/fail data and classified defect information can be collected within a short span of time, allowing the operator to make quick and reliable decisions to either reject or accept the stent.
The Q six can concurrently acquire and examine images of the inner and outer surfaces as well as the sidewalls of the stent structure at a rate spanning from 5 mm2/second to 20 mm2/second. SensoINSPECT adheres to 21CFR Part 11 requirements.

High-Accuracy Positioning Stage
The roller stage is the Q six’s modular component. Each stent is manually loaded on the roller stage in the inspection position. All motion is motorized under total software control, such as X/Z translation and 360° rotation. Users can steer through manual control or form a totally automatic program to scan the stent surfaces. Position accuracy of the stage is within 1 µm at any point on the stent’s surface.
