Roche receives FDA approval for Zelboraf to treat BRAF mutation-positive metastatic melanoma

Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Zelboraf (vemurafenib) for the treatment of BRAF V600E mutation-positive, inoperable or metastatic melanoma, as determined by an FDA-approved test.

FDA issues final rulemaking on testing and labeling of sunscreen products

"FDA's recognition today of the important role sunscreens play in protecting the public not only from sunburn but also from skin cancer and premature aging due to the sun is a very significant victory for public health.
