HiMedia is the first Indian-founded and registered organization focused on producing microbiology media developed through its own R&D efforts. It has been acknowledged by bioscience experts as the "Pride of India.
BHU-Vision (Rapid Automated Soil Analysis Apparatus) is an automated device used in agriculture to test soil nutrient content and generate customized fertilizer recommendations on the go.
Developed jointly by Krishitantra and the Indian Institute of Rice Research (ICAR–IIRR), BHU-Vision is licensed, manufactured, and marketed by HiMedia. The system has been validated by 12 scientists from various ICAR institutes across India in collaboration with the Krishitantra team. Its accuracy has been measured at approximately 95 % compared to conventional testing methods.
