Calypso is ideal for small labs, offering clean water at two feasible production rates of 2 or 4 Lhr-1.

With Calypso's simple design and user-friendly operation, water can be discharged from the system or gathered in a storage reservoir.

This affordable and compact water distiller can be installed on a wall or a bench.

Overview

Guaranteed purity

The Calypso incorporates a “cyclonic” vapor trap to create the highest-quality distilled water free of pyrogens, microorganisms, organics, and other contaminants. The special vapor trap’s “cyclonic” action removes all vapor-borne droplets, guaranteeing no contaminants carried over into the distillate.

The structure of the device is entirely made of borosilicate glass, and high-quality silicone rubber and robust heating elements are used.

Safe and easy to use

In the event of a water failure, the heaters are protected by a high-temperature cut-off, and operator safety is guaranteed by completely enclosed glassware.

The Calypso has a reservoir level sensor that enables the Still to be used with a user-selected collecting reservoir. When the reservoir is full, the Still will automatically turn off the heaters and water supply and restart when water is extracted.

Economy

An automated flow controller controls the rate of cooling water use for maximum efficiency and enables the Still to operate effectively throughout a wide range of tap water pressure.
