Continuous Liquid Level Monitoring

Since pump seals tend to fail in just 30 seconds of being run dry, the DuraChill® includes an advanced capacitance liquid level sensor to safeguard the pump against premature failure. When there is a low fluid level, the DuraChill® will send both audible and visual alarms to the users. If the fluid level approaches a point where there is a risk of sucking air into the pump, the DuraChill® chillers will shut down the chiller and trigger another alarm.

Dynamic Self-Changing Filter

The DuraChill® is preprogrammed to change its own air filter every month for a period of two years, and it can also be altered to suit specific operating environments. This aspect will considerably decrease downtime and unwanted service calls, which means users no longer need to follow preventative maintenance on their latest DuraChill®.

Intelligent Self-Diagnostic System

The DuraChill® includes an Intelligent Self-Diagnostic system that enables each chiller to store its entire initial operating performance profile onboard, right from the day it is constructed. At any given time, users can start the Intelligent Self-Diagnostic System to compare present performance against the data preserved on the day the chiller was manufactured. This diagnosis enables definitive and rapid troubleshooting of performance problems.

PolyScience’s color touch screen display offers users all the data they need at a glance. The screen displays continuous status of actual temperature, set temperature, output pressure, and reservoir fill level, as well as the status of the user’s air filter.
