Whether you're presenting your first or fiftieth poster, creating a clear, engaging poster and making the most of your poster session are skills that can significantly increase the impact of your research.

As part of ELRIG's Early Career Professional webinar series, Posters 101 will bring together experts from across the scientific community to share practical guidance on preparing, presenting and promoting scientific posters. Chaired by ELRIG ECP Work Group member Jasmine Trigg, the session will offer best practice and practical advice for researchers at every career stage.

The session will also explore how platforms such as AZoNetwork's Digital Poster Hub can help researchers share their work with a global scientific audience, increasing the visibility and longevity of their research beyond the conference.

About the webinar speakers

Jasmine Trigg

Jasmine is a scientist at Sartorius as part of the BioAnalytics group. Over the past couple of years, she has worked across multiple research areas developing cellular assays and analytical tools to extend the suite of Incucyte® live-cell analysis applications.

Jasmine has a background in neuroscience and genetic manipulation, and her earlier work focused on using a combined structural and molecular biology approach to assess disease-associated proteins implicated in Alzheimer’s disease.

Frank Barker

Frank has helped numerous science, engineering, and healthcare companies to create marketing strategies that engage with niche audiences. Having started his career in sales, he now runs AZoNetwork's Marketing department. 

He specializes in data management for sales teams, equipping them with the most actionable, real-time marketing insights from the first touch point through to revenue-generating opportunities.

Brian Hudson

Brian is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Molecular Bioscience at theUniversity of Glasgow. He leads a research group focused on developing metabolite sensing G protein coupled receptors as therapeutic  targets for inflammatory and metabolic disease. He has published more than 60 research papers and supervised more  than 30 PhD and Master’s students.

In addition to his research Brian is a Senior Editor for the British Pharmacology Society (BPS) journal Pharmacology Research & Perspectives and is a member of the BPS meetings committee. Through his experience with BPS, Brian has substantial  experience assessing meeting abstracts, as well as judging posters and oral presentations.
