Using flux tools to demonstrate the impact of the particle drift effect on oral drug absorption

The “Particle Drift Effect” has been used to explain the discrepancy between experimental fraction absorbed (FA%) observations in vivo and theoretical predictions observed when increasing the API dose beyond intestinal fluid solubility limitations.

In this webinar, Pion will describe the use of Pion’s µFlux apparatus for capturing flux data in the presence of excess solids and illustrate how in vitro flux measurements can be used to assess the FA% outcome for solubility-limited oral absorption cases.
