Marburg virus or simply Marburg is the common name for the the genus of viruses Marburgvirus, which contains one species, ''Lake Victoria marburgvirus''. The virus causes the disease Marburg Hemorrhagic Fever (MHF), also referred to as ''Marburg Virus Disease''.
