It is presently possible for customers to programmatically communicate with NMReady spectrometers via an open API. There are currently two ways to interact with a spectrometer: using the Microsoft .NET or the JSON data-interchange format.
The API enables users to:
- Install, launch, and track experiments
- Observe instruments performance
- Manage auto-shimming and standard maintenance routines
- Retrieve results in JCAMP-DX format

A few completed examples:
- Create customized teaching tools
- Incorporate and operate NMReady spectrometers via LabVIEW
- Setup reaction monitoring with Nanalysis’ flow product
- Create tailored red light/green light QA/QC inquires
