QuattroflowTM Single-Use pumps are equipped with a disposable product-wetted chamber that is comprised of a single replaceable solid polypropylene (PP) unit. The ease of disposing of this pump chamber saves users a considerable amount of time and money as it is not necessary to perform validation, sterilization and product cross-contamination processes.
The use of these Single-Use pumps has been shown to drastically reduce equipment turnaround times during the development of biotechnology processes. The most common applications of Single-Use pumps can be found in multi-product facilities, for example, in process development, the production of clinical reference samples and contract manufacturing.
About the Single-Use Pumps
QuattroflowTM Single-Use pumps are self-priming pumps that can be run dry. QuattroflowTM product designers have eliminated the use of rotating parts that would typically be subject to damaging friction that could potentially cause particle generation and/or product modification/degradation as a result of heat generated during this process.
Single-Use pump chambers can be replaced and ready for a new batch within minutes. Furthermore, users are provided with an exchange kit that is used to retrofit a Multi-Use pump into a Single-Use pump.
