The research-grade Thermo Scientific™ DXR3 Flex Raman Spectrometer is compatible with different analytical procedures. The tiny spectrometer shares the same architecture and optics as other advanced spectrometers in Thermo Scientific's DXR3 Raman Spectrometer research product line. As a result, it supports transportability and hyphenation while preserving data quality.
The DXR3 Flex Raman Spectrometer can help users achieve their goals more rapidly, whether they need to link chemistry and material performance, improve their understanding of materials through chemical identification, or monitor a real-time process.

DXR3 Flex Raman Spectrometer overview
- Open architecture allows for custom coupling to almost any equipment at any place. It is commonly referred to as the “Raman engine”
- By reducing the need for further measurements and assumptions, pairing with the DXR3 Flex Raman Spectrometer enables users to obtain answers more quickly
- A single measurement provides information from several methods, all of which were collected simultaneously and under identical circumstances
- Learn about the samples’ structural, chemical, and physical characteristics as well as their interactions with one another using a single measurement
- Investigate spectroscopic performance at the laboratory level
- It is possible to adjust the spectral resolution and excitation laser wavelengths to maximize performance for particular materials
- Increased sensitivity is achieved by eliminating fiber optic losses through free-space optical coupling
- There are objectives, a camera, macro and micro sample holders, fiber optic coupling, and other accessories available
- Lasers can be swapped out for Thermo Scientific™ DXR3 Raman Microscopes
- Thermo Scientific™ OMNIC™ software, data, and spectrum libraries are compatible with the DXR3 Raman device. CFR 21 Part 11 compliance is maintained by OMNIC D/S Software
Couple the DXR3 flex Raman Spectrometer with:
- Optic-fiber systems: Any system with an optic fiber input (to supply excitation frequency from the DXR3 Flex Raman Spectrometer) and output (to return emitted Raman signal to the DXR3 Flex Raman Spectrometer)
- Rheology
- Hot melt extrusion
- Different microscopic stages and sample holders
