This country is going insane with all these pain medications. I agree, we need to be able to offer hydrocodone -a common pain drug already-without acetominophen(tylenol). People often abuse these drugs and the tylenol is potentially lethal, and causes organ damage if taken in excess. Also, people with allergies to tylenol would be able to use hydrocodone, an excellent drug if you just had surgery and not as strong or dangerous as many others. But a time release/high dose pill?? Are they nuts??? Its going to kill alot of people. Kids dont get how dangerous these pills are and you don't want this one in the medecine cabinet. Sure you can "tamper proof" pills with additives that prevent injecting by clumping into glue in water, but it can be snorted or crushed and swallowed releasing the whole dose. If you need 24hr pain control, take pain pills as needed every 4-6hours. No one needs a friggin time release opiate like this when there are so many addicts , overdoses, and kids with uneducated or bad parents. I hope they dont let this new one out of the bag.
