Precision vial handling made easy with MultiVial's benchtop automation platform

MultiVial is a benchtop vial handling platform. This user-friendly technology can laser mark and weigh plastic and glass vials with great accuracy.

Intuitive and collaborative

MultiVial can process up to nine SBS racks of mixed vials in a single run, handling glass and plastic vials ranging in capacity from 1 to 50 ml. The system’s collaborative arm and small size allow it to be integrated into any current process. Easy access to the data and smooth device integration are made possible by MultiVial’s open REST API.

Laser marking

Laser etching labware has long been troublesome and variable. The laser etching capabilities of MultiVial have been fine-tuned and tested to mark a variety of glass and plastic vials rapidly and consistently. With adjustable marking options, the device can laser etch directly onto the vial to accommodate upstream procedures.

  • Laser marking eliminates the need for inks and tedious/expensive consumables by permanently etching the surface with numbers, bar codes, or QR codes
  • A line scan camera automatically detects the marking area
  • The system handles borosilicate glass and plastic vials/tubes
  • Compatible with Micronic, Azenta (FluidX), Thermo Fisher (Matrix), and many more

Accurate and intuitive weighing

MultiVial’s collaborative design enables technicians to work safely in the same area. New users need little training because the interface is intuitive and simple. Weigh to an accuracy of up to 5 d.p. and mark up to 864 one ml vials or a combination of sizes in the same batch.

  • Smart rack detection technology automatically recognizes the existence of racks when the user installs them on the instrument
  • Priority selection allows users to prioritize a specific rack
  • The integrated antistatic bars and draft shield enable the balance to swiftly tare for effective weighing

Sample tracking

Efficient sample tracking is critical for streamlining procedures. By combining 2D barcode scanning, the system can rapidly record and trace sample data, ensuring continuous tracking throughout the process. This technology minimizes human error, improves data integrity, and greatly accelerates processes. Real-time tracking and automated record-keeping allow the lab to increase overall production while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and compliance.

  • Streamline workflows across the laboratory process
  • Eliminate human error
  • Increase throughput, efficiency, and data integrity

Warranty

Labman provides a one-year worldwide guarantee as standard for all Labman systems.

We are lucky to have a Labman MultiVial device already up and running in our lab for laser tube marking. It saves time in the lab and keeps the label crisp even on small plastic vials. The interface for the software is easy to navigate and many colleagues are happy to use it. No more pens and stickers. A game changer, especially for small plastic vials in smart stores.
