CorVel Corporation today announced earnings per share of $0.56 for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, a 4% increase compared to $0.54 in the same quarter of the prior fiscal year. Covidien plc today reported results for the first quarter of fiscal 2011 (October-December 2010). First-quarter net sales of $2.77 billion increased 5% from the $2.64 billion reported a year ago. Foreign exchange rate movement had no impact on the quarterly sales growth rate.
