Magellan Health Services, Inc. today reported financial results for the second quarter of 2010 and increased guidance for the full year. The Company also said that its Board of Directors approved a share repurchase program under which the Company is authorized to purchase up to $350 million of its outstanding common stock.

Covidien third-quarter 2010 net sales increase 2% to $2.56 billion

Covidien plc today reported results for the third quarter of fiscal 2010 (April - June 2010). Third-quarter net sales of $2.56 billion increased 2% from the $2.52 billion reported a year ago, with foreign exchange rate movement having no impact on the quarterly sales growth rate.

Integra LifeSciences second-quarter GAAP net income increases to $15.2 million

Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation today reported its financial results for the second quarter ending June 30, 2010. U.S. Court of Appeals rules against Eli Lily's claims in Gemzar patent lawsuit

Sun Pharma today announced that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed the judgment of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan against Eli Lily and Co. finding certain claims of U.S. Patent No. 5,464,826 ("'826 patent") invalid. The appeal arose out of a lawsuit that Eli Lilly filed against Sun Pharma in connection with Sun Pharma's submission of an Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for a generic version of Gemzar®.
