So what the hell does this article even mean?
I was doing a Google search to see if there is a direct positive correlation between insulin levels and dopamine levels, but this article doesn't seem to care about that, only about diabetes and amphetamines.

Can someone help me answer my question?
I was to know if significant decrease in sugar consumption (with a life long habit of excessive sugar consumption), which leads to decreased insulin, can lead to decreased dopamine, or less sensitive DAT's (if they makes the same medical sense as decreased dopamine)?

Thanks, feel free to msg me.
