Well done. I would love my son to be a part of a clinical study for stem cells to treat intractable epilepsy. In the U.S. there are no human clinical studies to be heard of at the major learning hospitals. The one place that was offering treatment for epilepsy in the U.S., called U.S. Stem Cell Inc. (which still only treats adults) is now being sued by the U.S. government. The government is aiming to make the stem cell procedure to be regulated as a drug rather than a procedure. My son's childhood has already been sacrificed to constant seizures and status epilepticus damage to his brain and hearing that research is ten to 15 years out makes me so very sad. I hope you can use your talents to bring stem cell procedures to children who badly need it. The anti-seizure medications never work and they only cause horrible side effects.
