What I note from the suggested treatment sessions is that the interactions between parent and child are what one would find to be NORMAL interactions.  Perhaps parents think that leaving their child sitting in a car seat on the kitchen floor while they go about their business or leaving them with busy child care centres is what has led to this terrible condition in children.  Connecting with your infant instead of isolating them from parental care is what parents need to rediscover.  We all can learn from the findings, but honestly - does one need "therapists" and expensive treatments for this... no.  Just some common sense parenting right from the start of pregnancy and all through the lives of your children.  Children are meant to be seen and heard and talked to.  I find the ongoing autism studies very interesting.  Turn off your mobile devices and look at your kids.
