My eternal gratitude to the provider of these emails.  I am a self-diagnosed Celiac who is not caucasian but carry the genes from my European grandparents - hence my difficulty in being profesionlly diagnosed. This problem with cosmetics is one that I discovered earlier.  Once a product - from hair dyes to skin creams (even the top of the line ones) to lipsticks says "contains wheat protein" it is a danger to celiacs and should be avoided.  You tend to experiece the same sympthoms as ingestion of glueten via the digestive system where the problem exists.
