1. Christopher Spranger Christopher Spranger United States says:

One of the key issues with health care "systems" today are that they are not set up as systems at all.  Health care professional are specialists at their "piece" of the patient journey and they have a difficult time seeing the whole scope of what a patient encounters - and none of their training or education prepared them to so.  Blending systems engineering into nursing programs at the University level will help reduce this knowledge deficit.  Once the health care industry gets to a critical mass of physicians, staff, and administrators that understand and can apply systems engineering techniques, we will begin to see an industry transformation that will benefit all.

    Great job!
