    From the FDA website:

    "The FDA is responsible for protecting the public health by assuring the safety, efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, medical devices, our nation’s food supply, cosmetics, and products that emit radiation, and by regulating the manufacture, marketing, and distribution of tobacco products."

    They have several reports of life-threatening injuries from MMS. Health Canada has had similar reports, including one life-threatening situation. www.hc-sc.gc.ca/.../2010_74-eng.php

    MMS has nearly killed several people in the United States and Canada, and those are just the cases they know about. What part of banning it is in disagreement with protecting public safety?
