      Not only has it not transferred to humans after thousands of pounds consumed, it also hasn't transferred to predictors frequently consuming it. The primate being referred is a squirrel monkey and is not a suitable candidate as a similar disease scarpies was also found in squirrel monkeys that have never passed to humans. Cynomolgus macaques would be more medically acceptable for cwd wich found a 0% transmission rate after testing. Not saying it's not possible but very unlikely.
