Pfizer receives FDA approval for BOSULIF to treat Ph+ chronic myelogenous leukemia

Pfizer Inc. announced today the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved BOSULIF (bosutinib), an Abl and Src kinase inhibitor, for the treatment of adult patients with chronic, accelerated, or blast phase Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) with resistance, or intolerance to prior therapy.

A multi-institutional research team has developed a method for embedding networks of biocompatible nanoscale wires within engineered tissues. FDA approved drug to treat Ph- acute lymphoblastic leukemia

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today approved Marqibo (vincristine sulfate liposome injection) to treat adults with a rare type of leukemia called Philadelphia chromosome negative (Ph-) acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). ALL is a rapidly progressing form of blood and bone marrow cancer that is more commonly diagnosed in children than adults.
