F8004 Multi-Air Tester

Bedfont® Scientific’s new F8004 Multi-Air Tester is best suited for both dental and medical air testing for an extensive range of gases and contaminants, all in a single device.

The instrument features a 7″ touchscreen color display and has been engineered to offer a simple and rapid technique for executing precise testing of breathing-air supplies, confirming the quality of surgical, medical, and dental air against various international standards such as HTM 02-01, HTM2022 Supplement 1, and EU Pharmacopoeia.

Moreover, the instrument can test breathing-air supplies according to CGA G-7.1-2011 grade D, EN 12021, and AS-NZS 1715:2009 standards.

The F8004 is provided with electronic sensors for detecting carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, oxygen, sulfur dioxide, and nitrous fumes (both nitrogen dioxide and nitrogen monoxide). A PID sensor helps test the levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and a sample test point enables users to test for the presence of oil aerosols with a Dräger Impactor. Moisture content is quantified by an electronic dewpoint meter.

The instrument’s memory stores the test results, which can be later downloaded to PC software available in the instrument.

The F8004 is powered either by internal rechargeable batteries or direct from a mains power supply. The instrument also includes a test mode for constant live sensor readings with data logging.
