The ACR urges the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction to reject the administration's imaging recommendations and work with ACR and other imaging stakeholders to create policies that ensure safe, appropriate care, promote quality and protect patient access.

Astellas Pharma Europe Ltd. (APEL) and Optimer Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today announced that the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has adopted a positive opinion for DIFICLIR (fidaxomicin) tablets for the treatment of adults suffering with a Clostridium difficile infection (CDI), also known as C. difficile-associated diarrhoea (CDAD).
