    Fantastic news, although not very new, a similar conclusion appeared years ago in the magazine GEO. In my view herbal medicine is excellent in improving the state of people's immune system with e.g. Echinacea and propolis. These two natural remedies (there are others, of course) are supreme in stimulating our own interferon which is the best viral protection. I see fever as a healing response which we should not suppress but manage. An old fashioned way of managing fever are 'wadenwickel', towels soaked in cold water and wrapped around the patient's calves. These draw the heat out of the head to help prevent convulsions.
