If you are interested in my slow taichi theory and do an experiment on heart beat control (in a Sine wave) with deep breathing (or oxygen mask) for self healing, let me know. This has nothing to do with Qi or Ying & Yang. It is simply forcing blood to capillaries in internal organs including brain. You may read details in my Google Plus account. Perhaps, it was a mistake by China promoting all sorts of short form taichi (in relatively faster speed) back in the 50's to now, making taichi more like a cardio exercise and causing people to seek self-healing from qigong and even falungong. It is such a pity that the self-healing properties in taichi are being neglected by all the young taichi masters.

Actually, the theory which is called the Pao's Law of Exercise is posted on my Google+ account under my name Pao Yen.

In theory, you can apply this Law to bedridden people and let them do taichi without lifting one finger, if you can figure out a pace maker type of device to change heart beats.
