    Based on my understanding and personal experience, Lemon Juice, Tart Cherry Juice, Apple Cider Vinegar, and baking soda are helpful in treating and preventing gout. The role of Vitamin C is still unsure, but seems working better with higher dosage. The current RDA of Vitamin C is very much disputable at under 120-200 mg a day. We understand that other species which produce Vitamin C naturally in their bodies, and the amount of Vitamin C they produce based on their body weight should equal somewhere around 40-50 mg/kg a day. Is this the reason that humans have some medical problems, which are not existing in those species who produce Vitamin C themselves?
