It is not SULPHER (sulpher is "salt") they used in it it is called SULFA, and the aluminum lake filler can also cause an allergic reaction... i just got switched back to ARmor thyroid yesterday... armor thyroid is now available ... i looked it up. i think i had an allergic reaction to the levothyroxine i was switched to when armor was taken off the shelf.   i went from 228 pounds to 343.2 pounds from july 08 to november 2010.   i itched like crazy from head to toe.  my thyroid was "normal" in june 10, and low in sept 10, and low in october 10, and then high november 10.   i have a new dr who agreed to put me back on armor to see if i can get this fluid off of my body... it seems like it is starting to come down, i don't feel as "tight" as i did 2 days ago... you either have to inform the pharmacy that it's back on the shelf, or you have to call around to get it.  my local walmart pharmacy had exactly what i needed yesterday.   my pharmacist said she hasn't tried to get it for awhile and will try when i need it refilled.  some places have a "back order" for the armor though.
    good luck
