It's also great to see that the author has paid much attention to the selective pressure induced by vaccines and treatment methods that target the SARS-CoV-2 receptor-binding domain (RBD) "Increased SARS-CoV-2 loads in humans, combined with selective pressure due to vaccines and therapeutics targeting the SARS-CoV-2 receptor-binding domain (RBD), have also led to an unprecedented rise in the emergence of new SARS-CoV-2 variants in 2022.".
