1. Randy Johnson Randy Johnson United States says:

Fluoridation opponents (FOs) are quick to jump on any study that mentions fluoride or fluoridation, distort the conclusions and combine the information with opinions from other FOs.  Moderate to severe dental fluorosis has never been linked to drinking optimally fluoridated water but to swallowing fluoride containing toothpaste or rinses, and mild dental fluorosis causes no cosmetic or physical damage and actually makes teeth more resistant to dental decay.

Have any of the study authors become anti-F activists and stated that drinking optimally fluoridated water was harmful, so they had to bring in quotes from actual anti-F outliers to make those claims.

If the study actually demonstrated harm from drinking optimally fluoridated water, the authors would have clearly stated that fact - they did not!
