    Interesting article.
Has enough time elapsed to see if the "at risk" athletic profiles did indeed develop a CAC (as predetermined by the CT scans of CA containing plaques )?
Is there a physiologically proven pathway that exactly details why the CA containing plaque may cause a CAC condition (ie: is it medically possible to explain what exactly this CA containing plaque does to cause and why it does not than occur in all)?
There are a lot of "may"s included in these studies. With the epidemic of overweight/obesity and the health related consequences it seems unlikely we need to worry about people over-indulging in exercise.
Having said that; I appreciate this scientific work as I would qualify as an "over-exerciser" for the past 50+ years of my life.
    Interesting.
    Thank you.
