    If I'm reading this right, they engineered spike proteins based on  hCCCoV to create a "vaccine," and are concluding the response of an immune system trained to this "vaccine" (as opposed to the "whole virus" immunity that would develop against the "wild virus") may not work as well as one that hasn't. You haven't established that immunity to  hCCCoV doesn't create immunity to C-19, you've established that creating immunity to spike proteins doesn't necessarily create immunity to the whole virus. We knew that already!
