I went to my gp-and was asked to provide a urine speciment, I did not complain about any discomfort whatsoever, no burning, no odor and no discomfort in urinating, I was called the following day and was told that I had UTI, I returned to the doctor and was given ciprofloxacn. Why was this powerful antiobaticic given to someone who was not having any problem in this area. If this was the case I should have been refered to a specialist.
