Adventures in Fluorescence - The Case of the Yellow Band

NIGHTSEA provides diverse solutions for fluorescence viewing and imaging. Along with supplying the gear we are periodically called on to provide technical support – sometimes under time constraints. One time we were contacted by a diver who was on the island of Bonaire, trying to take fluorescence photographs for the first time and having problems. We were able to solve this for him in short order so that he could get great photos on his next night dive, saving his trip. At first we were just going to write this up as a useful exercise and learning experience, but we decided to have a little fun and turn it into a challenge to our user community, with a prize of a NIGHTSEA cap. This video describes the problem and the solution.
