PBI and TDI announce strategic licensing and collaborative research and development agreement

Pressure BioSciences, Inc. and Target Discovery, Inc.,, today announced a strategic product licensing, manufacturing, co-marketing, and collaborative research and development agreement. Under the terms of the Agreement, PBI has been licensed by TDI to manufacture and sell a highly innovative line of chemicals used in the preparation of tissues for scientific analysis.

Bruker to acquire certain product lines of Varian

Varian, Inc. announced today that Bruker Corporation and Agilent Technologies, Inc. have entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement pursuant to which Bruker will acquire certain product lines of Varian. As previously announced, Agilent committed to divest those product lines in connection with obtaining regulatory approval for Agilent's pending acquisition of Varian.

Rapid, multiplexed genotyping method to identify SNPs that affect warfarin dose developed

Researchers from the Ohio State University have developed a rapid, multiplexed genotyping method to identify the single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) that affect warfarin dose. The related report by Yang et al, "Rapid Genotyping of SNPs Influencing Warfarin Drug Response by SELDI-TOF Mass Spectrometry," appears in the March 2010 issue of the Journal of Molecular Diagnostics.
