Histostem awarded U.S. patent for isolation of mesenchymal stem cells

Stem Cell Therapy International, Inc. announced that its soon to be subsidiary, Histostem Ltd. of South Korea ("Histostem"), has been awarded U.S. Patent Number 7,582,477 B2, entitled "Method of Isolating and Culturing Mesenchymal Stem Cell Derived from Cryopreserved Umbilical Cord Blood." This patented method is utilized across the company for research, clinical and cosmetic applications.

Sono-Tek reports financial results for the second-quarter ended August 31, 2009

Sono-Tek Corporation today announced sales of $1,683,883 for the three months ended August 31, 2009, compared to sales of $1,605,482 for the prior year period, an increase of $78,401 or 5%. Sales also increased versus our first quarter by $219,155 or 15% in coating equipment for alternative energy, medical device equipment, food processing equipment and other industrial coating equipment.
