Harbour BioMed today announced it has entered into an exclusive strategic partnership with Sichuan Kelun-Biotech Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to develop and commercialize A167, an anti-PD-L1 antibody in Phase 2 clinical development, worldwide outside of the Greater China region.

Ology Bioservices, Inc., a biologics contract development and manufacturing organization, announced today that it was awarded an Other Transaction Agreement to support the Joint Project Manager Medical Countermeasure Systems, a component of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense for advanced biologics manufacturing services—specifically, to manufacture an anti-Ebola monoclonal antibody.

OHSU professor conducts clinical trial with artificial pancreas using Xeris' liquid glucagon

Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company leveraging its novel technology platforms to develop and commercialize ready-to-use injectable and infusible drug formulations, announced today that Jessica Castle, M.D., an associate professor of medicine in the OHSU School of Medicine and OHSU Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center in Portland, Oregon, is conducting a clinical trial with a dual-hormone artificial pancreas using Xeris' ready-to-use liquid glucagon to evaluate a new closed-loop algorithm.
